• Before lighting a candle, remember to trim the wick to a length of about 0.5 cm. This will ensure a consistent and smokeless flame.
   
• Freestanding candles of unusual shapes usually have a primarily decorative function. Due to the variety of shapes and sizes, the wax may melt unevenly and burning time may vary.
   
• Always place candles on a flat and an appropriate fire resistant surface, at a safe distance from flammable materials, children and animals.
